First Blog
I have been wanting to create a blog about my thyroid and hypothyroidism for some time now, but I have been focusing on becoming healthier and didn't want to focus time and energy on talking about my 'disease', not knowing how I could help others or myself in that way. My goal and idea was to create a blog or write a book, somehow get information out to people...the millions of people who are suffering from thyroid disorder. Once I became healthy and overcame the disorder. I was inspired by the idea that I will overcome this disease and then emerge healthy and able to help other people with the information and ways in which I healed myself. I am currently on that path...to health and overcoming thyroid disease WITHOUT medication. I do not want to be irresponsible and give information about which I don't know enough. I am not a doctor, I am not a scientist. I am a female in my 20's who was diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis three years ago and I've suffered tremendously as a result. The writing in this blog is about my own journey with dealing with my hypothyroid and my path to attempt to become healthy. I am not healed, I am not on medication, but I am determined to restore my full health in a natural way. I have also researched and discovered some information that is ESSENTIAL for people suffering the same thing to know about, and I will share this information with you. This being said, the writing and ideas in this blog are my own opinions and I cannot be held liable for any actions a reader might take as a result.
